Since the beginning of his legal career and the inception of his law firm, Thomas J. Henry has been an integral part of the South Texas community. In addition, Mr. Henry has provided resources to national and international causes. Mr. Henry's philosophy is to insure that his success is spread in the community and, on a greater scale, in the United States and world. It is only through human interaction and helping others that we form a closer community, closer country, and closer world. Throughout Mr. Henry's career, he has focused on various causes including education, the elderly, the young, healthcare, Christian causes, and numerous other causes. From 1997 – 1998, Mr. Henry, along with other members of the Corpus Christi community, provided financial support to develop the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi Athletic Center which then brought a greater amount of young people to the Corpus Christi area. For over a decade, Mr. Henry has led campaigns such as the Turkey Give Away and the Christmas Give Away. Because of Mr. Henry's generosity, over 100,000 Coastal Bend families are able to celebrate a happier Thanksgiving and Christmas each year. In 2010, Mr. Henry intends to not only be instrumental in touching the people in Haiti and helping them in their cause, but to locally advance many causes in the Coastal Bend community. Again, Mr. Henry intends to focus on the homeless, the elderly, education, and various other causes.
