Benedict James joined the Law Offices of Thomas J. Henry in April of 2009. He is currently handling many personal injury cases including auto and trucking accidents. Prior to his career at the Law Offices of Thomas J. Henry, Mr. James worked on large discovery projects for a variety of law firms.

Mr. James graduated from the University of Texas in May of 2003, and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law in May of 2008. During law school, he took advantage of many of the internships offered. He was able to work with the Federal District Judge Walter Smith Jr. and also acted as Lead Student Attorney in Class A, B, and C misdemeanor cases for the University of Texas Law School Criminal Defense Clinic.

Mr. James emigrated from Sofia, Bulgaria to Austin, TX as a young child and speaks Bulgarian fluently. He is happily married to Draionna James and they have two daughters, Elizabeth and Magdalene.
